Nellai Manavalakalai Mandram Arakkattalai affiliated with The World Community Service Centre (Affiliation No. 36) in the year 1994 The World Community Service Centre, established in the year 1958 by Vethathiri Maharishi at Chennai, is a non-profit registered society. The organisation is presently headed by Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Arulnidhi S.K. Maeilanandhan. The World Community Service Centre is a non-religious, non-political and non-profit organisation. Our Nellai Manavalakalai Mandram Arakkattalai is functioning on the lines and directions of WCSC.
The main objective of the WCSC is to bring peace in society through peace in the individual, that permeates the family , leading to the society and the world at large. Ultimately, we aim at “World Peace.” The practices and teachings of the WCSC are made so as to combine and integrate these three aims to achieve the world peace at the end.
WCSC is a multi-faceted organisation that aims at the inner transformation of the individual on all fronts—body, mind and soul—spreading and percolating through stages, finally encompassing the whole world. A multilayered transformation of the individual, family, society and the world is one of the major objectives of WCSC.
Affiliated trusts like ours (Nellai Manavalakalai Mandram Arakkattalai) conduct Simplified Kundalini Yoga (SKY) classes and workshops that cover physical exercises, kayakalpa, meditation and introspection, among others. We also conduct specialised knowledge-sharing programmes such as: Kayakalpa Yoga for Youth Empowerment for youngsters aged 14 years and above, with special focus on college going students of both sexes, Yoga for Women Empowerment etc. Our trust has been functioning for the past 32 years (as of June 2026).
